Breaking Ground transformed an historic 1913 multi-family structure into a modern office and multi-use space for a non-profit in Jacksonville’s Riverside neighborhood. The major renovation included extensive foundational, structural, framing repair, and refurbishment of the existing staircase and wooden floors. The open-air porch was enclosed and a second-floor deck was added to create more usable space. ADA-compliant access ramps were added and a new fire system was installed for improved safety.
