Dewberry, a national design, engineering, and construction firm, needed an experienced General Contractor for its new Jacksonville Office location. Breaking Ground Contracting was thrilled to be selected and embraced the challenges of working on the 11th floor of a downtown office building to meet the requirements of the new space. This tenant improvement/renovation project included interior demolition, all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and interior finishes for an existing space. Integration and coordination with the existing building systems and property manager were critical to the project’s success, including new electrical, HVAC controls, and suite access control.
